Avoid animal proteins
It’s one thing to make a moral choice, it’s quite another to choose a vegetarian diet in the belief that you will lose weight. It depends on what you choose: soy products, vegetable oils, excess gluten from certain vegan meat and cheese substitutes, excess seeds, make many vegan and vegetarian dishes unbalanced in terms of essential fatty acids, and generally not very nutritious.
The so-called noble proteins (eggs, meat, fish, cheese) are very important for adequate nutrition.
They are not indispensable, of course, but be careful to reduce them drastically.
