Although they are rich in fibre and vitamins, they do not satiate for long. A high dose of carbohydrates causes a peak of insulin in the blood, which after apparent energy immediately leads to a drop in sugar levels and a consequent feeling of hunger.

In addition, the hormone cortisol is still high in the morning and this prevents the correct metabolisation of sugars. Better to opt, therefore, for cooked oats.
